Abstract

Coretax service administration system represents a significant advancement in tax reform in Indonesia, marking a pivotal step in the digital transformation of tax administration. Since its implementation, Coretax, along with its administrative system enhancements and automation features, has had a profound impact on various stakeholders, including taxpayers, tax practitioners, and teachers, who are now required to update their knowledge and skills accordingly. This tax reform necessitates a concurrent increase in understanding among users, including vocational high school teachers. As a vocational education institution, vocational high school teachers bear a crucial responsibility in preparing students to successfully enter the workforce, particularly in the field of taxation. Consequently, vocational high school teachers need to grasp the latest taxation systems, especially Coretax, to enhance the quality of learning in schools. The strategic solution was implemented to improve the competencies and reinforce the understanding of taxation among vocational high school teachers. This initiative entails organizing seminars or training sessions conducted by practitioners or academics specializing in taxation. The methodology employed involves a combination of presentations and discussions on best practices in taxation, fostering an interactive workshop environment. During the event, participants expressed excitement and engagement throughout the lively question-and-answer session. This community service activity has had a minimal yet meaningful social impact, strengthening the relationship between Politeknik Negeri Bali and its strategic partner, the vocational high school teachers, through this event. Additionally, the event significantly contributed to improving the vocational high school teachers’ competencies and deepening their understanding of taxation.
