Abstract

This study explores how green logistics is changing to make supply chains stronger by enhancing technology, improving financial outcomes, and supporting environmental responsibility. In essence, green logistics focuses on reducing the harmful environmental impact of activities like transportation, storage, and packaging, while ensuring that operations continue to run efficiently.

The paper looks at how these practices have developed over time and how they are now linked to circular economy concepts and government regulations. It also explains why more companies are turning to sustainable logistics, including the need to cut costs, meet growing customer expectations for eco-friendly products, and demonstrate commitment to social and environmental responsibility.

In addition, the study highlights new technologies like artificial intelligence, big data analytics, and the Internet of Things that are helping companies improve both efficiency and sustainability in their logistics processes.

The study also looks at the real challenges companies face, such as limited budgets and not having access to advanced technology. By reviewing examples from different industries, it offers practical strategies to help overcome these issues. Overall, the results show that adopting green logistics not only enables companies to comply with stringent environmental standards but also boosts their competitive edge and supports the long-term durability of supply chains. By giving decision-makers in both industry and government clear direction, the chances of green logistics being adopted more widely increase, resulting in stronger environmental safeguards and a shift toward more sustainable operational methods.
