- Abstract
Personal Identification Numbers (PINs) are the structure blocks of contemporary security systems, but conventional means of inputting them—typing on physical or virtual keypads—leave users exposed to serious threats. Systems such as shoulder surfing (in which attackers visually monitor PIN input) and thermal tracking (which finds heat residues left on screens) undermine even the most watchful users. For countering such faintness, introduce a new hands-free verification scheme that alternatives the admission of PINs with eye-blink shapes. Using online eye-tracking technology, the system arrests blinks as input signals with no animal traces of Pins. This method is joint with facial recognition for self-authentication and an email-based One-Time Password (OTP), making a multi-factor defense against illegal admission. The result is a secure, suitable verification process that exploits user confidentiality without cooperating convenience.
