Welcome to the Proceedings of the International Conference on Socio Legal Intricacies of Artificial Intelligence (ICSLIAI 2026). The conference was organized by the School of Law and included representatives of a wide range of legal professionals, policymakers, scholars, technologists, and researchers to have an intensive discussion on the development of the regulatory environment, ethical accountabilities, and social influence of AI systems. The compilation promotes the dire need to address AI governance problems alongside the reality that interdisciplinary scholarship could be employed to offer justifiable solutions. The contributors to this volume represent a wide spectrum of opinion, including doctrinal approaches to law and legal research, empirical research, and critiques of policy, reflecting the diversity of socio-legal investigation in the age of AI.
