We are honored to present this volume of proceedings, encapsulating cutting-edge insights and fostering dialogue among academics, policymakers, and practitioners. ICSSED 2025 has continued its legacy as a premier platform for advancing knowledge in social sciences and economic development, with a steadfast commitment to addressing contemporary challenges through innovation and inclusivity. ICSSED 2025 was conceived with dual objectives: to catalyze research in social sciences and economic development and to facilitate the exchange of scientific knowledge across borders. This year’s conference attracted about 250 submissions from over 10 countries and regions, reflecting its global resonance. Participants ranged from earlycareer researchers to seasoned experts, united by a shared goal of exploring solutions to issues such as sustainable development, technological disruption, and intercultural communication. The conference’s annual recurrence underscores its role as a nexus for intellectual growth, enabling stakeholders to collaboratively reimagine frameworks for social and economic progress in an era of rapid transformation. The three-day program featured a rich tapestry of academic activities, anchored by three keynote speeches and an invited lecture. Prof. Junfeng Liao (South China University of Technology, China) opened the discourse with an analysis of electronic word-ofmouth (eWOM) in the context of dance drama marketing, unraveling its spatiotemporal dynamics and societal implications. Assoc. Prof. Prasad Siba Borah (Jiangsu University, China) then delved into Generation Z’s green consumption patterns, interrogating the interplay of knowledge, social responsibility, and trust in shaping sustainable behaviors. Complementing these perspectives, Assoc. Prof. Dragana Ostic (Jiangsu University, China) examined leadership paradigms in a volatile global economy, emphasizing adaptive communication strategies. Additionally, Prof. Pang Changwei (China University of Petroleum, Beijing) enriched the program with an invited speech, bridging technical expertise with humanistic inquiry. Oral presentations further diversified the dialogue, with scholars from institutions such as Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia, University of Malaya, and Xizang University addressing themes ranging from digital governance to regional economic disparities. Poster sessions provided a dynamic space for emerging researchers to showcasemethodologies and preliminary findings, fostering mentorship and interdisciplinary feedback.
