- Abstract
Against the backdrop of the dual carbon goals, digitalization and low-carbon transformation have become core issues for enterprises. Based on panel data of China’s A-share listed companies from 2014 to 2023, this paper employs benchmark regression models and mediation effect models to empirically examine the relationship between the digital economy, green technological innovation, and corporate low-carbon transformation. The study finds that the digital economy can actively promote corporate low-carbon transformation and effectively drive green technological innovation. Green technological innovation plays a partial mediating role between the two, meaning that the digital economy can promote corporate low-carbon transformation by fostering green technological innovation.
