Website: https://www.icssed.org/ The 2026 11th International Conference on Social Sciences and Economic Development (ICSSED 2026) was successfully held from March 20 to 22, 2026, in Beijing, China. The conference brought together 148 participants from academia, industry, and government sectors, providing a dynamic forum for interdisciplinary dialogue on social, economic, and management issues. ICSSED 2026 featured three distinguished keynote speakers whose insights greatly enriched the discussions: Prof. Peter Shi from Macquarie University, Australia; Prof. Huaping Sun from the University of Science and Technology Beijing, China; and Prof. Hao Huang from the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, China. Their presentations, alongside a series of oral presentations, offered diverse perspectives on contemporary challenges and emerging trends in social sciences and economic development, fostering a stimulating intellectual environment and promoting knowledge exchange among scholars. The conference's discussions encompassed a broad spectrum of topics reflecting the multifaceted nature of economic, business, social, and management research. Key themes included financial stability and literacy, regional and international trade, rural-urban development, industrial and environmental economics, tourism and agribusiness, political economy, sustainable urban transport, and economic policy. In addition, participants examined advances in banking, management, human resources, e-learning, and organizational behavior, as well as pressing social issues such as inequality, poverty, unemployment, social welfare, institutional development, and the role of social computing. Management-oriented discussions addressed branding, consumer behavior, corporate finance, entrepreneurship, family business, and the integration of big data and social media in organizational strategies. By encompassing both theoretical and applied research, ICSSED 2026 provided a comprehensive platform for the exploration of contemporary challenges and innovative solutions in social sciences and economic development. A total of 254 submissions were received, reflecting the growing interest in the conference's thematic focus, of which 108 papers were accepted after rigorous peer review, ensuring the high quality and relevance of the contributions. The presentations and discussions at ICSSED 2026 underscore the conference's role as an influential venue for advancing scholarship and fostering collaboration across disciplines, and this volume captures the breadth and depth of the knowledge shared during the event.
