- Abstract
This study aims to analyze perceptions of prospective teacher student gen Z as the digital native generation utilizing AR media to enhance digital literacy in microteaching courses. This study employs a quantitative descriptive approach utilizing a survey method with a questionnaire technique to assess student perceptions. The instrument used was the Digital Literacy Skills Questionnaire in the Microteaching course. Data collected through Google consisted of five aspects, namely information literacy, computer literacy, media literacy, visual and communication literacy, and technological literacy. The data average result suggests that respondents exhibit excellent perception criteria, suggesting that Generation Z prospective teacher students, as digital natives, agree that augmented reality media significantly enhances their digital literacy in microteaching courses. The use of assembly education-focused augmented reality in the development of learning media for microteaching classrooms positively impacts all aspects of digital literacy.
