Abstract

This research discusses the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in learning at Vocational High Schools (SMKN 10 MAKASSAR) in Indonesia, particularly in the context of building sustainable collaboration for educational innovation in the industry 4.0 era. The purpose of this study is to identify the impact of AI implementation on student learning outcomes, the efficiency of the learning process, and the barriers and opportunities faced in its implementation. This study uses data from several vocational schools in Indonesia that have adopted AI in their curriculum. The results show that the implementation of AI can improve students’ learning outcomes and learning efficiency, but also faces barriers in the form of limited infrastructure and human resources. In addition, this study also reveals the importance of collaboration between educational institutions, government, and industry to ensure the success of AI implementation in SMKN 10 Makassar. Recommendations for effective collaboration models are also provided to support the optimal implementation of AI in the vocational education environment.
