Building on the legacy of previous editions, this conference continued to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation in leveraging information technology for sustainable economic growth. IEDM 2025 emphasized actionable insights, case studies, and innovative practices. These contributions demonstrated the tangible benefits and challenges of digital integration across diverse economic sectors. As a multidimensional platform for cross-disciplinary dialogue, the conference brought together scholars, industry leaders, and policymakers to address critical themes, including digital transformation’s role in enhancing productivity, driving innovation, and bridging socio-economic disparities. This year’s program highlighted the importance of integrating technical advancements with social and economic contexts, reflecting the conference’s commitment to holistic problem-solving. To further explore these themes, the conference featured keynote speakers of distinguished repute, whose expertise span multiple disciplines. Datuk Prof. Dr. Shamsul Amri Baharuddin, a Fellow of the Academy of Science Malaysia and a UNESCO Chairholder, delivered an insightful address on the subject of managing social cohesion through inclusive governance. Prof. Nor Liyana Mohd Shuib, a scientist whose work has been recognized with a ranking in the top 2% worldwide, presented her findings on ethical considerations in AI-driven education from the perspective of students. Associate Professor Sameer Kumar and Associate Professor Sri Devi Ravana further enriched the program with their expertise in social network analysis and data analytics, respectively. In addition to the keynote presentations, all submissions were subjected to a rigorous peer review process by two to three committee experts, ensuring the maintenance of high academic standards. The accepted papers were subsequently published in the conference proceedings and submitted to Inspec, CNKI for indexing, and where applicable, also submitted to Ei Compendex and Scopus (subject to acceptance). This meticulous process underscored IEDM 2025’s dedication to disseminating impactful research. Building on these achievements, the organizing committee extends gratitude to all participants, keynote speakers, reviewers, and sponsors for their contributions. Special thanks are owed to the General Chair, Prof. Shiyun Zhang, and Publication Chairs, Assoc. Prof.Meilin Zhang, Assoc. Prof. Au Yong Hui Nee, and others, for their leadership. We also acknowledge Atlantis Press for their editorial support. IEDM 2025 reaffirmed its position as a pivotal forum for advancing knowledge at the intersection of informatization, economics, and management. As we look to the future, the IEDM conference series will remain committed to fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and promoting sustainable solutions to global challenges.
