Abstract

The “Five Golden Constructions” constitute the core “new infrastructure” for driving high-quality development in vocational education. As an institutionalized vehicle for industry-education integration, the industry college provides an organized practical platform for implementing the Five Golden Constructions. Grounded in the typological characteristics of vocational education—namely “cross-boundary, integration, and reconstruction”—and integrating the concept of professional clusters, this paper systematically examines the theoretical logic and operational mechanisms underlying the practice of industry colleges. Taking Kunpeng Industry College as a representative case, the study conducts applied research centered on the Five Golden elements. Through deep integration of professional clusters with the Five Golden Constructions, a new paradigm of collaborative education has emerged, oriented toward industrial clusters and bonded by industry-education integration. Empirical data from diverse practical outcomes indicate that this model offers a replicable framework for higher vocational institutions to systematically implement the Five Golden Constructions.
