- Abstract
Progress over time goes hand in hand with advances in digitalization, however, regarding the management of artificial intelligence in written works that have Intellectual Property Rights, legal protection still tends to be minimal. Legal protection of Intellectual Property Rights is important for someone who owns a work, especially a form of written work. The use of GPT Chat must also pay attention to the rights owned in a work, so that in its implementation the development of Artificial Intelligence must also be in line with legal protection for Intellectual Property Rights. The role of human resources who are users and also policy makers, namely the government, requires a form of coordination so that intellectual property rights to a written work can be guaranteed and fulfilled. The existence of copyright plays a big role as a form of respect for someone's thoughts, so it is not permissible to use these thoughts carelessly. So the protection of copyright becomes something very important. Nationally and internationally the existence of intellectual property rights is recognized, as recognized in Geneva in September 1990, namely the Intellectual Property in Business Briefing which discusses intellectual property rights known as TRIPs (Trade Related Aspect of Intellectual Property Rights). So that legal protection for intellectual property rights must be considered and needs to be implemented properly in accordance with existing laws and regulations.
