- Abstract
Soil salinization is a global agricultural and ecological problem and one of the main factors affecting plant growth and development. As a common vegetable crop and cash crop in northern China, tomato is widely grown in arid and semi-arid areas in northern China. In this paper, the differences of germination rate, germination potential, radicle length, germ length, fresh weight and dry weight of ginkgo Qiangfeng, Zhongshu4, Hehe 903 and Maofang 802 tomato varieties were analyzed by different concentrations of salt stress treatment. The results showed that the tolerance of different varieties of tomato to different salt solutions was different, and the growth characteristics of different varieties were significantly different. In this paper, by analyzing the related factors of the test results, the corresponding countermeasures were put forward to improve the crop salt tolerance, in order to provide theoretical support for the identification, screening and breeding of salt-tolerant tomato varieties.
