Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of the KOPTI (Koperasi Produsen Tahu Tempe Indonesia) Bandung in supporting a sustainable economy through the development of local food products such as tofu and tempeh. Using a descriptive qualitative method with a SWOT framework, data were collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation with cooperative members and administrators. The findings show that KOPTI provides stable raw material distribution, allocates surplus funds (SHU) for member welfare programs, and has begun implementing environmentally friendly practices such as converting soybean pulp into animal feed. These efforts strengthen local food security, enhance small producers’ economic resilience, and demonstrate the cooperative’s contribution to sustainable economic development.
