- Abstract
This study explores the application of a multi-level mind mapping method in bilingual professional course teaching. It analyzes the connotation and value of the OBE (Outcome-Based Education) concept, which is outcome-oriented and student-centered, and elaborates on the principles and implementation methods of the multi-level mind mapping approach. The study proposes integration strategies for combining OBE and mind mapping in bilingual professional courses, including setting goals for professional knowledge, language application, and critical thinking. The teaching implementation process comprising pre-class preparation, classroom instruction, and post-class consolidation is described in detail. A case study of the bilingual course “Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer” demonstrates the teaching practice and student feedback. The research summarizes the practical effectiveness of applying multi-level mind mapping in bilingual professional courses.
