- Abstract
This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Indonesian language teaching materials with ecological content assisted by augmented reality as an effort to increase students’ environmental awareness. This study is motivated by the lack of Indonesian language teaching materials that integrate environmental and ecological values. In addition, the teaching materials used in the Indonesian Language and Literature Department are still in print form and have not been maximized in the use of digital teaching materials. The methods used were questionnaires and interviews with students in the Indonesian Language and Literature Department at Unimed. Based on the scores obtained from student responses, the evaluation indicators—concept clarity, use of examples, presentation, language use, and overall appeal—achieved a score of 87%. Based on the percentage results, the students’ response scores fall into the “very good” category, indicating that the development of these teaching materials can stimulate and enhance environmental awareness among students.
