- Abstract
A Cadet of SDP Palembang Transportation Polytechnic must have a prime level of health and fitness. In order to form these physical characteristics, energy sufficiency and nutritional status as well as physical activity must always be guaranteed to be at an optimal level. The study was conducted using a case study approach to 111 first-year cadets, namely Class XXXIV. Energy sufficiency was measured using the 3x24-hour food recall method which was then calculated and categorized according to AKG. The results of the study revealed that the level of energy sufficiency of respondents was in the insufficient category, namely 103 people (92.8%) and the category of sufficient energy intake was 8 people (7.2%). Most cadets (88%) had normal nutritional status based on Body Mass Index (BMI). The level of physical activity of cadets was in the moderate category based on the daily activities of cadets on the SDP Palembang Transportation Polytechnic Campus.
