- Abstract
PT. Penguin Ferry Jasa is a shipping company engaged in the field of ship agency and logistics goods delivery with the destination of Batam Singapore loading and unloading ports and vice versa. To facilitate the clearance process, the inapornet system is used. At this time there are still obstacles in the clearance process with the inapornet system. This research is a qualitative type using observation, interview and documentation methods. Based on the results of observations made, the implementation of the use of inapornet still has obstacles in the clearance process. These obstacles are in the form of system errors, delays in port officers in providing approval for ship services, and human errors. Regarding this, the agent responsible for the inapornent system at PT. Penguin Ferry Jasa tries as much as possible to communicate with related parties through the WhatsApp group and coordinate regarding existing problems.
