- Abstract
Waste Management in ports is an important aspect in preserving marine ecosystems. Various regulations have been implemented both at the national and international levels to ensure that waste generated from port activities can be managed effectively and environmentally, from activities in ports and the Bira ships is important to do. The review aims to identify the extent to which waste management policies and practices have been implemented and to analyze their effectiveness in reducing marine pollution, so that other ports that have not undertaken waste management can follow suit.
