- Abstract
The accelerated integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into educational systems has transformed digitalization from a technological process into a broader institutional and governance-related phenomenon. While existing studies primarily focus on technological innovation and pedagogical efficiency, less attention has been given to the relationships between AI, sustainability, governance and educational inclusion. Addressing this gap, the chapter develops an original conceptual framework connecting AI-driven educational transformation with sustainability-oriented educational management.
The study adopts a conceptual-analytical approach based on critical literature review and socio-technical systems theory. Building upon the Sustainable Vector Model, the chapter proposes the Sustainable Vector Framework, which conceptualizes educational transformation as the interaction between technological, institutional and social vectors within AI-enhanced educational ecosystems.
The framework integrates governance structures, adaptive monitoring systems, sustainability strategies and inclusion-oriented policies into a unified analytical perspective. In addition, the chapter introduces multidimensional evaluation indicators related to educational inclusion, institutional sustainability, governance quality and systemic transformation outcomes.
The analysis highlights that the long-term impact of AI in education depends not only on technological infrastructures, but also on governance capacity, ethical accountability, organizational resilience and equitable access policies. The chapter contributes to current debates on AI governance and sustainable educational management by proposing a socio-technical and sustainability-oriented framework aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals and contemporary principles of responsible digital governance.
