- Abstract
In the present world, most of the activities of humans are assisted and supported by technology which makes life easier. Robots (Bot) are increasingly being integrated into industries to support humans. Many remote-controlled, Bluetooth-controlled bots work on the user commands. These conventional methods of controlling require the use of an additional device to control the movements of the bot. Hand gesture control is a user-intuitive interface for Human-Robot Interaction. The project mainly aims to design a “Hand gesture-controlled robot” that navigates based on hand gesture commands. The proposed system employs a combination of computer vision and machine learning tools to recognize and interpret hand gestures in real-time. The robot that works on the hand gesture commands can be used as a personal assistant.
