- Abstract
In recent years, cyberbullying has progressively evolved into a serious challenge of the globally digitalized societies and their constituent members. Such deleterious behavior not only violates the legitimate rights of victims but also fundamentally destabilizes the integrity and harmony of online environments that aspire toward stability. Conducting systematic, and in-depth exploration into the underlying generative mechanisms and developmental pathways of cyberbullying holds significant implications for the formulation and implementation of effective prevention and control strategies targeting such phenomena. This paper adopting the theoretical perspective of Social Learning Theory, proposes a series of prevention and control strategies including the disruption of social learning processes, the active mitigation of group polarization and deindividualization effects, and the strategic reduction of relative deprivation. These proposed measures collectively aim to promote the construction of a healthy and positively oriented cyberspace.
