- Abstract
With the deep integration and application of AI in secondary education, the opportunities and challenges brought by the improvement of vocational abilities of secondary education teachers have received widespread attention. This article mainly analyzes the opportunities and challenges that the integration of AI into secondary education brings to the improvement of teachers’ professional abilities. This article analyzes that while AI brings opportunities to the subject specific knowledge, teaching design and innovation ability, student development and guidance ability, and educational technology application ability of secondary education teachers, it also faces high requirements for professional technology use, changes in teaching methods, and the transformation of teachers’ professional roles. Based on this, this article proposes the following suggestions: cultivate digital thinking and increase investment in technical support; Establish innovative teaching seminars and incentive mechanisms; Provide psychological support and position professional roles.
