- Abstract
With the fast and highly efficient development of the Internet, it has a closer relationship between people’s study, work, and daily routine. Meanwhile, the rate of cybercrime among minors has also been rising year by year. Based on the Law of the People’s Republic of China on the Prevention of Juvenile Cybercrimes and other relevant laws and regulations, this paper adopts case analysis method and combined with actual cases to analyze the effectiveness and shortages of the laws and regulations on the prevention of juvenile cybercrimes in the practice process and puts forward corresponding suggestions. From the research, it finds that at the aspects of school, family and society, regulating minors’ online behavior and establishing minors’ safe and correct online awareness have indeed played a certain role in preventing minors’ cybercrimes. However, in reality, during the practice process, it also shows some shortages. For example, minors are not mature physically and mentally and are easily induced to commit crimes, also, the quality of Cybersecurity education given by the teachers varies.
