- Abstract
To investigate the current status of parental absence, mental toughness, social development of young children and their relationship. Methods: The Social Development Scale and the Early Childhood Mental Toughness Scale were used to investigate 100 young children. Results: Parental absence and young children’s social development were negatively correlated; mental toughness mediated the relationship between parental absence and young children’s social development.
