As an annual academic platform focusing on the integration of innovative management practices and evolving economic paradigms, the conference continued to foster critical dialogue among scholars, practitioners, and policymakers. A total of 248 papers were submitted, and following a comprehensive peer review process, 124 high-quality contributions were accepted for presentation and inclusion in the proceedings. MIED2025 was honored to host three distinguished keynote speakers whose lectures set the tone for in-depth discussions across multiple domains. Prof. Xiongfeng Pan from Dalian University of Technology delivered an insightful analysis of how demographic trends—particularly population aging and sub-replacement fertility—interact with population flow and technological innovation to influence carbon efficiency. Prof. Jing Gao of Southwest University explored the spatial and temporal dynamics of China’s emerging agricultural productive forces and their implications for sustainable agricultural development. Prof. Md. Mamun Habib, affiliated with both Independent University, Bangladesh, and the University of Texas at Arlington, USA, provided a global perspective on integrated supply chain frameworks in the digital age. In addition to these keynote sessions, the conference featured invited talks and oral presentations, covering a broad spectrum of topics and enriching the academic depth and thematic diversity of the event. The research presented at MIED2025 reflects the expanding scope and complexity of contemporary issues in management innovation and economic development. Scholars addressed cutting-edge topics in technological and strategic management, digital governance, enterprise systems, and human resource innovation. Discussions explored public sector administration, smart city governance, marketing analytics, and finance under the influence of digital transformation. In parallel, the economic development discourse encompassed themes such as the digital economy, green economic transformation, global trade dynamics, financial structures, blockchain-driven systems, and the interplay between economic policy and environmental sustainability. Special attention was paid to the roles of artificial intelligence, data processing, and Internet technologies in reshaping both management theory and economic practice. The success of MIED2025 was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the organizing committee, keynote and invited speakers, reviewers, and all contributors whose academic rigor and participation ensured a productive and forward-looking conference. The selected proceedings compiled herein represent a cross-section of innovative thought and empirical inquiry, offering valuable insights for ongoing scholarship and real-world application in the fields of management and economics.
