Abstract: Based on prefecture-level city data from a southern provincial region from 2013 to 2023, this paper constructed a comprehensive measurement system for regional coordinated development and examined the mechanism through which power grid enterprise performance affects regional coordinated development. The results show that the level of regional coordinated development in this provincial region generally increased but gaps still existed, the internal operation dimension of the power grid had a significant promoting effect on regional coordinated development, and the comprehensive line loss rate and customer satisfaction exhibited nonlinear relationships. It is suggested that power supply reliability and service equalization should be taken as the core, investment layout should be optimized, digitalization and cross-regional dispatching capabilities should be strengthened, and the supporting role of the power grid in high-quality development and regional coordinated development should be enhanced.
