Website: https://www.icmied.org/ The 2026 4th International Conference on Management Innovation and Economy Development (MIED 2026) was successfully held in Shenzhen, China, from July 10 to 12, 2026. The conference provided an international platform for scholars, researchers, and professionals to exchange recent advances and discuss emerging challenges in management innovation and economic development. A total of 202 papers were submitted to the conference, among which 89 papers were accepted for publication after a rigorous peer-review process. The event attracted more than 150 participants, creating a valuable environment for academic exchange and research collaboration. MIED 2026 featured a series of keynote speeches delivered by distinguished scholars, covering topics including digital intelligence, technological innovation, green development, and economic transformation. Prof. Hua Wang from Zhejiang University presented research on temporal hypergraph neural networks for carbon price analysis; Prof. Ming Chen from the University of South China discussed the impact of digital capability enhancement on farmers' farmland transfer behavior; Prof. Jie Li from Jinan University explored the economic impacts of technological progress in digital economy sectors; Prof. Tong Li from Guangdong Peizheng College shared insights into large language models and innovative thinking; and Prof. Xiaoguang Liu from Northeast Forestry University analyzed the relationship between green finance, knowledge spillover, and carbon emission intensity. In addition, oral presentation sessions were organized to facilitate further academic communication, enabling participants to share their latest findings and exchange perspectives on related research topics. The conference covered a wide range of research areas related to management innovation and economic development, including digital transformation, intelligent management, enterprise innovation, financial management, supply chain management, entrepreneurship, public governance, and sustainable development. Discussions also focused on digital economy development, technological advancement, industrial transformation, green finance, low-carbon development, and emerging economic models, highlighting the interaction between technological innovation, organizational evolution, and economic growth. The papers collected in this proceedings volume represent recent research achievements in management and economics. All accepted papers were reviewed by experts to ensure academic quality and relevance to the conference themes. The published works provide valuable references for researchers and practitioners interested in exploring innovative approaches to management practices and sustainable economic development.
