- Abstract
Employee performance at the Tebing Tinggi District Attorney’s Office plays a crucial role in achieving organizational goals and delivering optimal services to the community, particularly in case resolution and administrative processes. However, public perception of civil servant performance is often skewed due to longstanding negative stigma and the absence of clear, objective parameters for evaluation. This results in a disconnect between actual employee contributions and public opinion. To address this, the study employs a quantitative research method with data collection through triangulation techniques. The research aims to assess the extent to which work attitude and self-efficacy influence employee performance at the Tebing Tinggi District Attorney’s Office. Although the study is limited in scope, it offers valuable insights by giving a voice to the employees themselves and highlighting the need for more accurate and fair performance evaluations. The findings can help reshape perceptions and improve accountability and motivation among civil servants.
