Abstract

With the growing demand for diversity and utilization efficiency of germplasm resources in modern agriculture, the construction of an efficient and intelligent information management and sharing platform has become the key to improve the level of selection and breeding of new crop varieties and resource protection. Based on the protection system of agricultural germplasm resources in Shanghai and the demand for multi-source data integration, this paper designs and realizes a set of agricultural germplasm resources information management and sharing system covering resource collection, registration, storage, sharing, application and feedback. The system adopts browser/server (B/S) architecture, based on Spring MVC and MyBatis framework, combining with domestic operating system and database environment, and constructs a multi-layer logical architecture including interface display layer, business application layer, basic component layer and data layer; and through the unification of data standards and interface specifications, it provides unified modeling and sharing of heterogeneous data, such as basic information of resources, trait information, application records, user feedback and so on. Through the unified data standards and interface specifications, it models and manages heterogeneous data such as basic resource information, trait information, application records and user feedback. Functional modules cover resource information management, application audit, unit management, statistical summary and system settings, and provide open interfaces to third-party systems, realizing full-process visual management of resource data and physical objects and intelligent services. Since the platform went online, it has effectively improved the standardization and sharing efficiency of Shanghai’s agricultural germplasm resources, significantly promoted the information interconnection between protection units and utilization subjects, and provided solid technical support for the in-depth excavation and collaborative utilization of multi-source germplasm resources.
