- Abstract
With the improvement of living standards, people’s life expectancy is constantly extended. Under the background of increasingly prominent population aging, the Chinese government has piloted and promoted the long-term care insurance system as the “sixth insurance” after the “five insurances and one housing fund”. As a relatively perfect long-term care insurance system in the world, Japan’s long-term care insurance system is becoming a reference model in China. This paper looks forward to expounding the evolution process of Japan’s long-term care insurance system, showing Japan’s long-term care insurance system in more detail, providing some reference for China to improve the long-term care insurance system, and helping the Chinese government to solve a series of problems caused by the gradual increase of the aging population.
