- Abstract
In response to rising global supply chain risks, sustaining performance has become a critical concern. Drawing on dynamic capability theory, this study investigates the role of supply chain integration and dynamic capabilities in this context. Based on a survey of middle and senior supply chain managers from Chinese manufacturing and retail firms, the results reveal that supply chain risk management significantly enhances sustainable performance. Moreover, supply chain integration partially mediates this relationship, while dynamic capabilities strengthen the positive impact. These findings clarify the mechanisms and boundary conditions through which risk management drives sustainable outcomes, offering both theoretical contributions and practical guidance for enhancing risk resilience and supply chain collaboration.
