- Abstract
This study aims to identify the fire risk points existing in the development of various cities in Shandong Province and to implement targeted prevention measures. This paper analyses the fire statistics of cities in Shandong Province based on fire data from 2011-2022, combined with data on pure electric vehicles in Shandong Province. Using four indicators—number of fires, fatalities, injuries, and direct economic losses. We examine the correlation between fire incidents and the number of pure electric vehicles in urban areas, identifying the fire risk points associated with pure electric vehicles in each city. The study proposes fire prevention measures for pure electric vehicles. This research can provide decision-making references for later fire prevention and emergency response initiatives concerning pure electric vehicles in Shandong Province.
