Abstract

Academic research on the aesthetic value of Capital: A Critique of Political Economy (hereafter referred to as Capital) mainly focuses on the following aspects: the beauty of language, which explores Marx’s writing style and literary techniques; the beauty of structure, which examines the artistic construction, narrative logic, and overall composition of the work; and the beauty of thought, which investigates the aesthetic implications of the theoretical and practical issues discussed in the book. Scholars have also explored international and domestic research as well as Capital’s influence and inspiration on Chinese aesthetics. However, existing studies remain limited in number and depth. Scientific rigor and content richness should be key directions for future research on the aesthetic value of Capital.
