- Abstract
In this paper, we use the existing pima indians diabetes database to estimate the population prevalence of patients with diabetes by using the confidence interval estimators, which the result is 31.52% to 38.27%. At the same time, we use multivariable linear regression statistical analysis to find out the main significant factors affecting diabetes including Pregnancies, Glucose, Blood Pressure, BMI, Diabetes Pedigree Function. And further through the T-test, we analyze and conclude that there are significant differences of mean Pregnancies, Glucose, BMI, Diabetes Pedigree Function for diabetic patients and non diabetic patients. On this basis, we give relevant suggestions for the diagnosis and treatment of diabetes, so as to find diabetes earlier or relatively reduce the incidence of diabetes.
