Abstract

Artificial intelligence has become a transformative technology and this technology helps in changing the modern world but with the emerging technology the question was whether the AI generated works are capable of copyright protection or not. The intersection between intellectual property and law raised numerous challenges. The problem was determining copyright ownership when AI plays a significant role in content creation. Several countries have acknowledged that AI is still reliant on human input. So the Significant input test was believed to find a balance between innovation and human ingenuity. This technique was considered in order to recognize the creative processes while considering concepts of uniqueness and human authorship. The framework is required that consider the AI generated work within the existing copyright laws to consider AI innovation.
