- Abstract
Against rural aging, this paper tackles the lack of dynamic adaptability in existing high-quality agricultural development evaluation systems. Using the entropy weight method, it analyzes 21 indicators across 31 Chinese provinces from 2011-2023 to get initial weights and comprehensive scores. Based on core agricultural mechanization indices, an aging rate threshold segmented function is introduced to dynamically adjust weights, forming an evaluation system integrating the entropy weight method and aging dynamics. Benchmark tests on Jiangsu, Tibet, and Liaoning show the system better captures core variables’ dynamic impacts, resolves the entropy method’s failure to reflect indicator heterogeneity, and enhances objectivity and scenario adaptability, providing a quantitative tool for regional agricultural mechanization policies.
