Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of human development, digital transformation, government spending, and inflation on unemployment and economic growth in Indonesia. This research is a causative descriptive study. The population in this study were all provinces in Indonesia using secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The number of samples in this study were 32 provinces with 14 years of research so that the total data studied were 448 data. The data analysis method used is by using multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that human development has a positive and significant effect on unemployment. Digital transformation has a negative and significant effect on unemployment. Government spending has a negative and insignificant effect on unemployment. Inflation has a positive and insignificant effect on unemployment. Human development has a negative and insignificant effect on economic growth. Digital transformation has a negative and significant impact on economic growth. Government spending has a positive and significant effect on economic growth. Inflation has a positive and significant effect on economic growth.
