Website: https://jru.edu.in/RAISD2025/index We are pleased to present the Proceedings of the International Conference on Recent Advances in Artificial Intelligence for Sustainable Development (RAISD 2025), held during 7–8 March 2025 at Jharkhand Rai University, situated at Raja Ulatu, Namkum, Ranchi, Jharkhand – 834010, India. Conducted in hybrid mode, the conference brought together a global community of researchers, academicians, professionals, and practitioners committed to advancing sustainable development through the transformative power of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The academic program featured keynote speeches, expert panels, and technical sessions covering a diverse range of themes, including intelligent computing and cybersecurity, smart technologies in agriculture, AI applications in healthcare and bioinformatics, AI-driven innovations in management and entrepreneurship, integration of Indian Knowledge Systems with AI, and the development of ethical and responsible AI practices for a sustainable future. Each submission to the conference underwent a rigorous double-blind peer-review process, ensuring the selection of high-quality and original research contributions. Out of a large number of submissions, 55 full-length papers were accepted for publication in this volume of conference proceedings, resulting in a competitive acceptance rate of 31.97%. The inaugural session was graced by Prof. (Dr.) Goutam Shutradhar, Director of National Institute of Technology (NIT), Jamshedpur, India, as Chief Guest, who empha sized the role of AI in national development and policy transformation. We were also privileged by the presence of Dr. Arpan Haldar, Associate Professor, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Deoghar, India as Guest of Honour, who shared insightful perspectives on the evolving impact of AI in modern healthcare systems. The conference fostered an intellectually vibrant environment, with active participation from delegates representing premier academic institutions and research organizations worldwide. The program not only showcased innovative work but also encouraged collaboration across disciplines and sectors. We extend our sincere gratitude to all contributing authors, reviewers, session chairs, and participants for their valuable engagement. Special thanks goes to the National Advisory Committee, comprising distinguished experts from institutions such as IIT Kharagpur, IIM Shillong, NIT Durgapur, AIIMS Deoghar, and others, for their guidance and support in shaping the conference’s academic direction. We are particularly grateful to our Hon’ble Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Savita Sengar and Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Piyush Ranjan of Jharkhand Rai University, whose strategic vision, inspirational leaderships, and continuous encouragements were instrumental in the success of RAISD 2025. We are also thankful to Dr. Sumit Kumar Pandey, Dean (Academic) for his support during the entire course of this conference. Lastly, we commend the dedication and efficiency of the international and national advisory committee, organizing committee, technical team, and volunteers, whose efforts ensured the seamless delivery of this meaningful and impactful academic gathering.
