Website: https://www.smartsust.org/home It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 3rd International Conference on Smart Sustainable Development (SSD 2025). This event marks an important milestone in our ongoing commitment to cultivating research, innovation, and collaboration in pursuit of sustainable development. Since its inception, the SSD conference has evolved from a national platform into a truly international forum, bringing together researchers, academics, industry experts, and policymakers to address pressing global challenges. The first edition of SSD in 2022 was a modest yet impactful gathering that focused on nationwide initiatives. Encouraged by its success and the growing interest in sustainable solutions, the second edition expanded to include international contributions. Now, in its third edition, SSD 2025 continues to strengthen its global reach, inviting diverse perspectives and innovative approaches to tackle sustainability challenges. Aligned with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), SSD 2025 serves as a platform for advancing knowledge and showcasing cutting-edge research that contributes to a more sustainable and resilient future. This year, we welcomed contributions that align with one or more of the SDGs and emphasize practical, real-world applications. Our conference themes reflect key areas where smart technologies and sustainable practices can make a significant impact • Environmental Technologies and Entrepreneurship.
• AI for Sustainable Development.
• Smart Agricultural Innovation.
• Smart Cities and Urban Development.
• Smart Sustainable Businesses. Building upon the success of previous editions, SSD 2025 continues to serve as a dynamic space for knowledge exchange, interdisciplinary collaboration, and discussions on innovative solutions. The conference highlights the importance of integrating technol-ogy with sustainability practices, bridging the gap between research and implementation, and building a global community dedicated to shaping a sustainable future. The research presented in this conference is inspired by the need to develop smart, sustainable, and forward-thinking solutions that promote environmental stewardship, social equity, economic prosperity, and resilient communities. The themes explored align with our broader vision of Smart Sustainable Development, emphasizing the role of technology, policy, and entrepreneurship in addressing global sustainability challenges. We extend our sincere gratitude to the authors, reviewers, session chairs, and organizing committee members whose dedication and contributions have been instrumental in making SSD 2025 a success. We also acknowledge our institutional and industry partners for their support in enabling this meaningful dialogue on sustainable development. We hope that SSD 2025 will inspire new collaborations, stimulate impactful research, and provide valuable insights that contribute to a more sustainable and inclusive future. We invite you to engage, exchange ideas, and collectively drive innovation toward achieving global sustainability goals. Sharan Singh
