- Abstract
The development of augmented reality-assisted teaching materials, such as e-modules, is necessary to meet the demands of education in the 4.0 era. The aim of this research is to analyze the need for the development of an interactive temperature and heat e-module assisted by augmented reality. This research is a survey study using a quantitative research method. The population in this study consists of all seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 01 Belitang Jaya, with a research sample of 100 students. The research was conducted in May 2024. Data collection techniques used a questionnaire designed with a modified Likert scale of four answer choices: strongly agree, agree, disagree, and strongly disagree. The results of the study show that the statements presented to respondents received percentages ranging from 64% to 88%, falling into the agree and strongly agree categories. From these results, it can be concluded that students require alternative teaching materials beyond the currently available ones, such as e-modules and e-books, which present written content supported by educational videos assisted by augmented reality.
