Sriwijaya University Learning and Education International Conference is a biennial scientific meeting held by the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education at Sriwijaya University. The main objective of the 6th SULE-IC 2024 is to provide an opportunity for academicians and professionals from various education-related fields all over the world to come together and learn from each other. Furthermore, the other goal is to provide a place for academicians and professionals with disciplinary interests related to education to meet and interact with members inside and outside their disciplines.

We are grateful to the Almighty God that the 6th Sriwijaya University Learning and Education International Conference 2024 (SULE-IC) Universitas Sriwijaya, Palembang, Indonesia, was held successfully in hybrid mode on 19–21 September 2024 with the theme of Learning Transformation and Innovation in the Digital Era. The conference was attended by 346 participants from Indonesia, the United States of America, Philippines,Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam, Australia, Singapore, and Eswatini, with 238 papers submitted for presentation.

The conference theme emphasizes how technology breakthroughs particularly in the digital era and specifically artificial intelligence (AI) have changed the way people work, interact, and learn. Education must respond to these changes by becoming a more responsive, relevant, and inventive education system that develops numerous 21st-century abilities, preparing students to face global challenges and competitiveness, a multicultural environment, and technology improvements.

Topics discussed here include (1) Hybrid Learning, (2) Utilization of AI in Learning, (3) VR/AR Collaboration Based Learning, (4) Teacher Professionalism Enhancement, (5) Curriculum Development and Dynamic Evaluation, (6) Interactive and Project Based Learning, (7) The 21st Century Skills, and (8) Climate Change in Education.

Finally, we would like to express our gratitude to the committees who have struggled hard to organize this event, to the management of the university for their assistance and guidance, and to the speakers and participants for their engagement in the conference.
