- Abstract
Faculty of Fine Arts and Design Universitas Tarumanagara is one of the faculties that has been established for three decades, producing graduates with competence and proud achievements. In order to utilize the moment of three decades of establishment, as well as answering the need for relevant promotion in the era of rapid technological development, a more effective promotional strategy is needed to attract prospective students, especially Generation Z with an age range of 17–22 years. This design aims to promote the Faculty of Art and Design of Universitas Tarumanagara by utilizing the momentum of three decades through a promotional book that uses a relevant storytelling approach. By adopting a storytelling approach, the design is expected to create emotional engagement and relevance for the target audience. This approach is supported by the finding that storytelling can increase audience engagement through the attribution of emotions and personal experiences. The methodology used in this design refers to the stages proposed by Robin Landa in his book “Graphic Design Solutions” (2018). The result of this design is a book as the main media and marketing kit as supporting media. This book is expected to be an effective tool in the promotion of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design Universitas Tarumanagara and as a collective record that can be utilized in the future.
