Abstract

This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the endocrinology service in the Republic of Uzbekistan, tracing its historical evolution, current state, and future development prospects. It details significant achievements in infrastructure modernization, the integration of innovative diagnostic and treatment technologies (including advancements in diabetes, obesity, thyroid, and osteoporosis care), continuous personnel training, and robust international cooperation. The analysis highlights a growing prevalence of endocrine diseases, such as diabetes mellitus, prediabetes, obesity, and thyroid disorders, necessitating strategic interventions. Finally, the paper proposes a strategic roadmap for the service’s advancement until 2030, aligning with national health goals and Sustainable Development Goals, emphasizing standardization, digital tool development, strengthened prevention programs, and integrated scientific research to establish Uzbekistan as a regional leader in endocrinology.
