Abstract

The article examines changes in obesity indicators in the Republic of Uzbekistan during the period from 2022 to 2024. Data on obesity incidence across regions were analyzed, with a focus on areas showing the highest growth rates. Obesity in Uzbekistan is becoming an important public health issue, associated with an increase in the number of cases, particularly among adults. The study also highlights statistics on newly diagnosed cases of obesity in the regions and emphasizes the need to improve prevention and diagnostic measures. To combat obesity, comprehensive strategies are required, including educational programs and improved accessibility of medical care.
