- Abstract
This research aims to clarify morphological and aesthetic disorders of the dentofacial system, lateral cephalometric radiographs of the head were performed in individuals aged 7 to 23 years, who were divided into two groups: Group 1 – patients with ENT diseases and impaired nasal breathing; Control group – individuals without ENT disorders. In addition, two subgroups were distinguished: those with mixed dentition and those with permanent dentition. Patients with adenoids demonstrated delayed growth of the cranial base, as well as the maxillary body and the entire midfacial region. Furthermore, disproportions in mandibular development were observed, manifested by more pronounced ramus growth accompanied by an increase in the mandibular angle.
