Abstract

As the essence of traditional craftsmanship, Yinshang Bronze Ware Patterns contain profound historical, cultural and aesthetic values. Based on the design gene theory, we systematically analyze its elements, composition and symbolic meanings, refine the design genes and construct a database. We will explore the inheritance and innovation path in contemporary context, summarize the application methodology to meet modern needs, excavate culturally recognizable design factors, and incorporate them into modern design through innovative practice, so as to provide assistance for the revitalization and inheritance of traditional culture.
