Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become a crucial force that is shaping and influencing our society in modern world. The algorithm that drives these systems are not neutral with biases data that are been increasingly questioned. The feminists critique the algorithms of AI and expose the myth of algorithm to be neutral, instead it reflects the biases, power dynamics and social disparities inherent in their design. Through a feminists lens, this paper examines the inequalities perpetuate be AI technologies and how feminists methodologies and theories such as cyberfeminism becomes a vision and also a tool to reimagine and refine AI development and hoe it can transform and help to eliminate these biases, the research advocates for more inclusive, transparent and ethically responsible AI systems that challenges traditional power, exclusionary structure and calls for a redefinition of AI that serves inclusivity without reinforcing existing prejudice. It not only critiques the system. A small survey was also been conducted to see people perspective towards equality in AI development. The findings shows that people are aware of biases done by AI system and feel how important it is to have feminists’ idea in AI for more equitable AI system.
