Abstract

Taking the Baxiwan River in Yong’an City, Fujian Province as an example, this study focuses on the correlation mechanism between dam shape optimization and public visual preference, and quantifies the recombination effect of dam shape on landscape elements. Verify the causal chain between landscape element proportion and visual preference, and identify key regulatory factors. The visual preference regression equation of the fusion dam type and landscape elements is constructed, the blue-green spatial optimization threshold of the small and medium-sized rivers in northwest Fujian is determined, and the technical guidelines of “material form ratio” for dam body transformation in the Baxiwan section are formed. The strengthening effect of material naturalness on preference, the establishment of the visual preference database of small and medium-sized rivers in northwest Fujian, the identification of “stone affinity” characteristics, the study provides a direct basis for the transformation of the Baxiwan River. The establishment of “citizen preference design feedback” closed loop, the modern translation of stone aesthetics to enhance the local identity. To provide a “small-scale, low-cost, high-identity” river transformation paradigm for similar climate zones.
