Abstract

Owing to the growing significance of financial decision-making in the modern world, the absence of systemic family financial literacy and education in the system is surfacing as an issue. This research suggests a systematic family financial education program for cfor children aged 6-14, with an emphasis on experiential parent–child engagement and money socialization at an early stage. With a mixed-methods design, the research incorporates a literature review, educationally grounded curriculum development, and developmental theory, as well as pilot testing with families to assess its impact. The proposed model incorporates modular saving, budgeting, responsible expenditure, and basic investing units, supported by activities that promote social learning. Drawn on child development theory and social learning foundations, the curriculum comprises six sequential modules designed to promote age-appropriate money management skills. This strategy provides a theoretically grounded framework that enhances family function to promote financial literacy. In combining cognitive development and experience-based learning principles, it not only enhances short-term child skills but also produces long-term economic stability.
